New Sporting Clays Shooter
Anthony J. "Smoker" Smith passed away January 11, 2010 at the age of 61. He acquired his nickname from his phenomenally accurate shooting; “smoking” targets that were hit so well. In the 1980s, Smith did a great deal to develop the sport in the USA and always had time to advise youngsters coming into the sport. He will be sorely missed in the clay target shooting circles.
New Sporting Clays Director
Robert Crow will be taking over as the new NSCA Director. Robert will be leaving the Shooting Academy at Nemacolin and joining the Staff in San Antonio on January 18. The NSCA Executive Council received many qualified resumes and after multiple conference calls and interviews Robert was chosen as the best candidate for the job. The Executive Council would like to thank everyone for their patience on this selection process.
